Weekend

Weekend (1967) starring Mireille Darc, Jean Yanne. Directed by Jean-Luc Godard. Experimental-feeling '60s-era movie has little relevance today, is more interesting as an artifact of a time than as a film to watch and enjoy. The fact that it's in French with English subtitles really doesn't help, and the subtitles are scarcely adequate. Grade: D+
