My Darling Clementine

My Darling Clementine (1946) starring Henry Fonda, Linda Darnell, Victor Mature, Walter Brennan, Cathy Downs. Directed by John Ford. One of the great Westerns, stars Fonda as Wyatt Earp, Mature as Doc Holliday and Brennan as Old Man Clanton. Downs plays the Clementine of the title, and the woman Earp falls in love with. The movie is one long buildup to the gunfight at the O.K. Corral, where Earp and Holliday wipe out the evil Clanton gang once and for all. An interesting feature of this disc is the Extra which compares Ford's original version to the cut that was eventually released in theaters.
