Rebel Without a Cause (1955) starring James Dean, Natalie Wood, Sal
Mineo, Jim Backus. Juvenile delinquency rears its ugly head in this laughable "classic." Attempts at replicating teen jive talk are hilarious, Dean looks his real age (24), and the plot is incredibly tame by 21st Century standards. The film is principally notable for being one of only three that Dean starred in before his death in a car crash in 1955. He received a posthumous Oscar nomination.
